And if they belie you, say: "For me are my deeds and for you are your deeds! You are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do!" 41 Some of them appear to be listening to you; but can you make the deaf hear, incapable as they are of understanding? 42 Some of them look to you. But can you guide the blind, even though they do not see? 43 Surely Allah does not do any injustice to men, but men are unjust to themselves. 44 And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves, etc.) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the meeting with Allah, and were not guided. 45 Whether We show you (in your lifetime, O Muhammad SAW) some of what We promise them (the torment), - or We cause you to die, - still unto Us is their return, and moreover Allah is Witness over what they used to do. 46 And for every nation there is a messenger. And when their messenger cometh (on the Day of Judgment) it will be judged between them fairly, and they will not be wronged. 47 They say: "When will this promise come to pass,- if ye speak the truth?" 48 Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself, or hurt, but as God will. To every nation a term; when their term comes they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward.' 49 Say: Tell me if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day! what then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on? 50 Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient 51 Then it will be said to those who had wronged, "Taste the punishment of eternity; are you being recompensed except for what you used to earn?" 52 And they ask information of you, [O Muhammad], "Is it true?" Say, "Yes, by my Lord. Indeed, it is truth; and you will not cause failure [to Allah]." 53
