Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
