The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
