T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 but only as an exhortation for him who fears God; 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high. 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, and all that lies between them, and underneath the soil. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 And has the story of Musa come to you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Indeed, I am Allah. There is no god except Me. Worship Me, and establish the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 Do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, bring down leaves for my sheep with it and I need it for other reasons. 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
