Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 But nay! I call to witness the accusing voice of man's own conscience! 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 When, then, the sight shall be confounded. 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together 9 That Day will Man say: "Where is the refuge?" 10 But there is nowhere to take refuge: 11 Before thy Lord (alone), that Day will be the place of rest. 12 On that Day the human shall be informed of his former and latter deeds. 13 In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof. 19 NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 Some faces that Day shall be Nadirah (shining and radiant). 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 Imagining that there will befall them a waiste-breaking calomity. 25 Nay, but when the life cometh up to the throat 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 (the angels of mercy or the angels of wrath,)" then, he will realize that it is time to leave this world. 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
