The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
