The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
