Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
