But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 They contrived a plot of great magnitude. 22 And who have said: ye shall not leave your gods; nor shall ye leave Wadd nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq nor Nasr. 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 And Noah (supplicated) saying: 'My Lord, do not leave a single unbeliever upon the earth. 26 Indeed, if You leave them, they will mislead Your servants and not beget except [every] wicked one and [confirmed] disbeliever. 27 My Lord! forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house as a believer, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin! 28
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
