The day We shall summon all men with their leaders, whosoever is given his record in his right hand will be able to read his account, and none will be wronged the breadth of a thread. 71 But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path. 72 (Such blind ones) try to confuse what We have revealed to you so that they may falsely ascribe to Us something other than the true revelation and thus establish friendship with you. 73 And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 This was Our tradition with Our Messengers who lived before you, and you will find no change in Our tradition. 77
