Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who dissimulate 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
