The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 Reward for what they used to do. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruits numberless, 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 on raised couches. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 and made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
