The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
