3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
