۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
