The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
