The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
