Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 (In Falsehood will they be) Until, when death comes to one of them, he says: "O my Lord! send me back (to life),- 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
