The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down the angels with inspiration of His Command to whom of His slaves He pleases (saying): "Warn mankind that La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so fear Me (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds). 2 He created the heavens and the earth with reason. Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright. 9
