The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
