The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
