I told them, "Messengers, eat from the pure things and act righteously; I know all that you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them in their intoxication till a time. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We [but want to] make them vie with one another in doing [what they consider] good works? Nay, but they do not perceive [their error]! 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night." 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 But indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Were We to be merciful to them and remove from them their present afflictions, they would persist in their transgression, blindly wandering on. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until We open on them a gate leading to a severe Punishment: then Lo! they will be plunged in despair therein! 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
