Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
