O (you) Messengers! Eat of the Taiyibat [all kinds of Halal (legal) foods which Allah has made legal (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, milk products, fats, vegetables, fruits, etc.)], and do righteous deeds. Verily! I am Well-Acquainted with what you do. 51 This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Indeed, they who are apprehensive from fear of their Lord 57 And those who in the signs of their Lord do believe. 58 Who do not associate any one with their Lord, 59 And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning). 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or is it that they did not recognise their Noble Messenger, therefore they consider him alien? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or are you asking them for any reward? But the reward of your Lord is the best, for He is the Best of Providers, 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 Until when We open upon them a door of severe chastisement, lo! they are in despair at it. 77
