Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
