The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
