The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
