Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
