Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 who are steeped in ignorance and heedlessness. 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
