Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 But there is a ban on any population which We have destroyed: that they shall not return, 95 Until when the way is opened up for Gog and Magog and they press from every elevated place, 96 And the True Promise has come near – thereupon the eyes of the disbelievers will become fixed, staring wide; saying “Woe to us – we were in neglect of this, but in fact we were unjust.” 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 Had the idols been true lords, they would not have gone to hell. "All of you will live therein forever". 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 (This will happen) on the day when We roll up the heavens as if it were a written scroll and bring it back into existence just as though We had created it for the first time. This is what We have promised and We have always been true to Our promise. 104 For We have written in the Psalms, after the Remembrance, 'The earth shall be the inheritance of My righteous servants.' 105 Verily in this (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. 106 We have sent you forth as a mercy to all mankind. 107 Say: 'It is revealed to me that your God is One God, do you then surrender' 108 But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. 109 Indeed He knows what you say loudly and what you hide. 110 I do not know (why God has commanded me to warn you of the torment). Perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time". 111 He said: 'My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Merciful whose help is ever to be sought against what you describe' 112
