O you who believe! Eat not Riba (usury) doubled and multiplied, but fear Allah that you may be successful. 130 and beware of the fire which awaits those who deny the truth! 131 And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to the for-giveness of your Lord and to a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the God-fearing. 133 who spend in the way of Allah both in plenty and hardship, who restrain their anger, and forgive others. Allah loves such good-doers." 134 And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. 135 Those, their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. How excellent is the wage of those who labor. 136 Many similar ways (and mishaps of life) were faced by nations (believers and disbelievers) that have passed away before you (as you have faced in the battle of Uhud), so travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allah, and disobeyed Him and His Messengers). 137 This is an exposition unto mankind and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-fearing. 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 And that Allah may prove those who believe, and may blight the disbelievers. 141 Do you think you will go to Paradise while God does not know who among you strive and persist? 142 You were longing for death before you met it; now you have seen it, while you were beholding. 143
