Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 and does not urge others to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
