We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
