And those who fly for Allah's sake after they are oppressed, We will most certainly give them a good abode in the world, and the reward of the hereafter is certainly much greater, did they but know; 41 Those who are patient and on their Lord do they rely. 42 We never sent but men before you to whom We revealed, ask the people of the Remembrance, if you do not know. 43 [and they will tell you that their prophets, too, were but mortal men whom We had endowed] with all evidence of the truth and with books of divine wisdom. And upon thee [too] have We bestowed from on high this reminder, so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought. 44 Do those who have been devising evil plans (against the mission of the Messenger) feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them up or that chastisement will not come upon them from a direction that they will not even be able to imagine; 45 Or, that he will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape. 46 Are they confident that God will not slowly destroy them? Your Lord is Compassionate and All-merciful. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 All things that move on the earth and in the heavens, and the angels, bow in homage to God, and do not behave with pride. 49 they fear their Lord above them, and do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
