Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 No, indeed! We shall assuredly write down all that he says, and We shall prolong for him the chastisement; 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
