Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
