Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
