And they ask you concerning the mountains, say; "My Lord will blast them and scatter them as particles of dust. 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That Day, everyone will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. 108 On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by (Allah) Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge, 110 ۞ And (all) faces shall be humbled before (Allah), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. And he who carried (a burden of) wrongdoing (i.e. he who disbelieved in Allah, ascribed partners to Him, and did deeds of His disobedience), became indeed a complete failure (on that Day). 111 but he who does good works, being a believer, shall fear no harm nor any injustice." 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
