The endeavors of he who believes and does good works shall not go unthanked. We write it down for him. 94 And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.) 95 till Gog and Magog are let loose and slide down out of every slope; 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Certainly! You (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! (Surely), you will enter it. 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 But those for whom a good reward had been fore-ordained by Us, will be far removed from it, 101 They shall not hear the least sound thereof, and in that felicity which their souls desire they shall be abiders. 102 They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" - 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." 105 Herein, surely, is a message for those devoted to worship. 106 We have not sent thee, save as a mercy unto all beings. 107 Say thou: this only hath been revealed unto me, that your god is only One God. submit ye then?! 108 Then, if they should turn their backs, say: 'I have proclaimed to you all equally, even though I know not whether near or far is that you are promised.' 109 Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide; 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
