It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 Rather, they say like what the former peoples said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say: "Whose is the sovereignty over all things, who protects, and against whom there is no protection? {Answer) if you have knowledge." 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 Never did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was there with him any (other) god-- in that case would each god have certainly taken away what he created, and some of them would certainly have overpowered others; glory be to Allah above what they describe! 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
