The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
