Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 "I have not gone astray, O my people," he said, "but have been sent by my Lord, the creator of all the worlds. 61 I deliver to you the Messages of my Lord, and I advise you sincerely; for I know from God that you know not. 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
