The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
