No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it departs, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing -- before a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No, indeed they have no fear of the Everlasting Life. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
