The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 covered down upon them, 8 in endless columns! 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
