The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
