Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Trust in God for you follow the manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
