Initiator (Faater)
45 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan) before Mary (Maryam)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
All praise belongs to God, the creator of the heavens and the earth who has made the angels Messengers of two or three or four wings. He increases the creation as He wills. God has power over all things. 1 No one can withhold the blessings God bestows upon people, nor can anyone apart from Him bestow whatever He withholds: He is the Almighty, the Wise One. 2 O you people, remember the favours of God to you. Is there any creator other than God who gives you food from the heavens and the earth? There is no god but He: How then can you turn aside? 3 And if they belie you (O Muhammad SAW), so were Messengers belied before you. And to Allah return all matters (for decision). 4 O mankind! verily the promise of Allah is true. So let not the life of the world beguile you, and with respect to Allah let not beguile you the great beguiler. 5 Satan is certainly your enemy, so hold him as a foe. He only calls his faction to be the residents of Hell. 6 For those who reject Allah, is a terrible Penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, is Forgiveness, and a magnificent Reward. 7
