3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ Of his party was Abraham. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
