Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
